The web version of pingVu's VideoScout streams a short controlled test clip and measures startup time, stalls, and the quality level your connection sustains, graded in the same "smooth up to 1080p" language as the app, for whatever device you're on right now.
A run can download tens of megabytes. It starts only when you tap, shows a data estimate first, and the standard run is capped at 720p to protect your data plan.
pingVu monitors your connection in the background, verifies the moment service returns after a dead zone, and builds your personal coverage map. The web test is a snapshot; the app is a companion.
